If I cancel my account, does my apple music username become available to others? Or is it saved to me if I rejoin?
I’m thinking of canceling until later in the year but don’t want to lose my username.

It's linked to your Apple ID. However & more importantly, please know when you cancel your Apple music subscription, all of your music goes with it except songs purchased separately from iTunes.
