Barometer app reports “no barometer” after update

After update to 11.2.6 the barometer app reports “This version of IOS reports there is no barometer. I emailed writer of app and actually got a reply, he stated that nothing has changed in app and it was due to the update. Has anybody else had this problem?

iPad mini 3 Wi-Fi, Cellular, iOS 11.1

Correct, iPad mini 3 do not have barometer hardware.

iPad mini 4 has it.

Yes, iPhone 6 has barometer.

You have to contact that 3rd party developer for an update.

Note: App developers has iOS 11.2.6 to test their apps before we users do so...
