The path /System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg appears to be missing or damaged. Where is it?

How come the installer downloaded from a genuine AppleID on an Apple internal hard disk can have missing some important file, crucial for its installation?

Is there any way out to find a copy of that...

Or to bundle it into the installer package?

Any light on that, please

Have logged into my account from the OS installed onto the External disk

To verify the error message OSInstall.mpkg

It is right there, where it is, presumably supposed to be...

Then what is wrong with the installer???

I opened the bootable USB (created as per instruction given on: https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT201372)

I located InstallESD (the biggest sized file in the installer, I assume this has most of the installation packages)

InstallESD>Packages>OSInstall.mpkg

So it is here!

In case it is damaged, what is the remedy?
