Cellular Apple Watch and Spotify/Pandora

Is Apple going to release an update to allow you to use musics apps other than the Music store? It's pretty annoying after paying this much for a watch to be able to leave your phone behind, you now have to pay $10/mo. for service PLUS $10/mo. to listen to music.

Apple Watch music Hi, I am interested in buying an Apple Watch series 5 cellular, however I want to be able to listen to music without taking my phone out with me. The problem is I use the amazon music unlimited streaming service which is not on the Apple Watch, so my question is, is there a way to achieve this?
