Apps will not load on new iPhone X.

Restored from iTunes backup after erasing and it still will not load apps. Repeated three times with no different results.

Then the backup is corrupted. Restore and set up as new.

It worked exactly as you said.it would. Back up was used successfully before but did somehow become corrupt. Thank you
