I am unable to update Pages, Numbers, Keynote, GarageBand, and iMovie. Oddly, my computer is relatively new and my Apple ID is the only one that has been used on it/to download apps. I have no idea why it won't let me update them and I am pretty sure that I have updated them at some point since I got the computer. It seems odd that it has suddenly stopped letting me update. What should I do to fix this?
It doesn't seem that ckuan is taking in everything that you have told us.
As I understand your original post;
1. You got the Mac brand new and set it up with your one and only Apple ID?
2. Did the apps you can't update come installed on the Mac or did you have to accept them into your account from the Purchased pane?
Please don't delete anything until we establish more about you and the Mac.

Ok.
The Mac had a different Apple ID before you took over.
Best you delete those apps and download again by using your own Apple ID.
Notification to Update, then message "Update unavailable with this Apple ID."
