I need to use a mouse with my ipad pro. What gives?

I know this has been a question before. Has Apple pulled their head out yet and made it possible to pair a mouse with this thing. I have things to do and little time for what the world will be like in the future. Right now I need a mouse to work with my ipad pro. Or send me some kind of futuristic device that allows me to place my cursor where I want it without having to reach out and touch the **** display everytime i want move something or cut and paste or select an object, etc. The pen has it's moments but touch screens are for drawing not for a replacement to the mouse. I would like a pair of glasses that know exactly what my eyes are looking at within a micron and then when I blink that would place the cursor then I could say "select next word" and it would just do that. You know or,.... maybe for now a mouse....

Those are good points you made especially about portability. That is the one reason i did not consider other keyboards but bought the keyboard folio 3rd gen for the 12.9. For the mouse support if it's implemented in the final realease, am going to use my magic trackpad 2 that i got for my iMac. It's flat enough and will fit in my sleeve as i bought a slim sleeve that i place the iPad in so that the pencil is protected. So for me, it remains light. I've not seen anyone testing with the trackpad thou and think it should work via bluetooth.

I bought a portable power bank in case i run out of juice but that has not happened once. Even when i worked for almost 10 hours, still had 18% juice left. I mostly use the power bank for my iPhone when i do a lot on it in the day.

agreed, I do not really understand Apple pricing politics sometimes, for an equivalent device/macbook/macbook air/IpadPro at 12.9 inches, the ipad, with stylus and keyboard is around 1500ish USd, when the macbooks are at 13001400ish, may save on the keyb though , but considering only apple devices (stylus and keyboard for ipad).

And agree as well, the ipad/brydge keyb/mouse/hard disk (if compatible, i understood SD would be, not sure external hard drive will be) is already very similar to a mackbook setup, this is why i use the apple keyboard that does not take much more than the regular cover, i tried the logitech some years ago and it ended up in my drawer for the exact same reason you mentioned, too bulky, adding too much weight, but it was for the first ipad which did not have an apple keyb cover. If i was using the brydge (I love the apple cover keyb anyway) it would be more as a "dock station" that stays on a desk.

Hope at some point, we may be able to use an Ipad, keyb/stylus/ and iphone as track pad AND SD reader, then we would definitely be on a nice nomadic experience... plus my picoprojector that fits in my jeans pocket, i would never go back to any classical style of computers. (my colleagues already laugh when they see me open my bag with what i call my portable apple desk in meetings :D )
