How can I get « iBooks Author » here in Canada ?

Hello. I just discovered this extraordinary app « iBooks Author ». This would be the perfect tool to write a book for my students. I wanted to download it from the Apple site but I do not have access to this download even I have full access to all others. It’s like it’s not available in my area,

Does anyone have a suggestion for me to get this app ? Are there other ways to get it ? Buy it on a CD ? Or transfer it? It seems very easy to have it in France, it would be even more perfect for me to have it in french.

It would be great if you find a solution for me.

You can download it directly from the Mac App Store, provided your computer meets the specs to install it. Apple does not distribute software on CD/DVD for many years.

iBooks Author is not available for the iPad, if that is what you want to use. You must have a Mac.

All Apple apps are multilingual and adjust their language automatically to your interface language, so there is no need to look for a special French version.

Hello Tom,

As you said, I realized that I must have a Mac to create with the iBooks Author app. I was confused by the ad that says : « iBooks Author. Create and publish amazing books for iPad and Mac. » I am very happy that we can use it in french.

I will immediatly upgrade my iMac to have access to this great app.
