Enabling IMessage question!

Ok so I have a iPhone 6 and i just recently logged in back to my iCloud and I was enabling iMessage but for some reason it doesn’t let me. And I’ve tried turning iMessage and FaceTime on and then restarting my phone but it still won’t work. All it says is waiting for activation and error try again. Please help me I don’t know what to do ☹.
