"move to trash" is missing on external drives after updating to macOS High Sierra 10.13.3

After upgrading my MacBook Pro to macOS High Sierra 10.13.3 I can't delete any files from my external drives. The "move to trash" option is missing from my drop down menu. When I check permissions in "get info" it shows that I have "Read & Write" permissions, but after unlocking "sharing and Permissions" option, i still can't make any changes. Ideas?

First, confirm if your drives are indeed formatted as NTFS: select a drive in the Finder, press command-I.

If it is, then you need software from Paragon or Tuxera.

How are those drives formatted? NTFS? If so, you require a third party extension to allow read/write access to the drive. The version you had on a previous OS is not compatible with High Sierra, so you need to update it.
