Missing Storage Space after deleting volume

So recently I upgraded to High Sierra, but after a few minutes, I wanted to switch back to my Windows 10, I held Alt/Option when the startup sound came, and then I saw that the Windows disk disappeared, I panicked a bit, I went back to Macintosh HD, went to disk utility, then clicked the info button for the BOOTCAMP disk, I saw that bootable and about almost everything said: "No", I decided to try to erase the partition by clicking the Erase button, it was erased, then I converted it to a volume and then I deleted it. Worst mistake I've done, I noticed a big change in my storage space, about 500 GB was gone from my 1 TB SATA Disk, I tried using the fsck command (Sorry I'm not very experienced in the Terminal or Command Prompt.), to repair my computer, I booted back in to Macintosh HD, the problem was still there, and I can't make another partition either, it just says after a second : "Sorry, the operation failed.", and when I tried to Install Boot Camp Again, it said: "An error occurred while partitioning the disk. please run disk utility to check and fix the error." I had already reinstalled MacOS and that wouldn't work, does anybody have a fix to this? If there isn't, is there a way that I could wipe my mac and get everything repaired? I do not mind losing data.

Your best solution is to completely erase and reformat the drive to create a single volume (partition). I would boot from an external source like Internet Recovery using one of two key combos below.

  • Command+Option+R (this will let you install the most current OS that your Mac is capable of running - e.g. High Sierra - IF you installed 10.12.4 or higher previously)
  • Shift+Command+Option+R (this will let you install the most current OS that your Mac shipped with - e.g. El Capitan 10.11.6)

Then, launch Disk Utility, select the drive (not the volume underneath) and click Erase. Select Mac OS Extended (Journaled) with the GUID Partition Map Scheme. This should totally erase the whole disk drive, format and create a single volume (e.g. Macintosh HD) with all the space of the drive. Then you can reinstall macOS.
