I recently got a new MacBook Pro, (new for me) its a 2015 model, I prefer this to the newest one. However, I realized that it doesn't come with two graphics card like it used to. Anybody know why is it so? I do a lot of animation and video editing and now I am very concerned.
Does it matter a lot that it only has an Inter Iris 1536 MB? Should I reconsider a newer one?

According to the pre-purchase technical specifications, that machine only has the integrated Intel Iris graphics card: MacBook Pro - Technical Specifications 2015 - Apple (CA)
But the support site says that the 2.5Ghz model has "AMD Radeon R9 M370X with 2GB of GDDR5 memory and automatic graphics switching" : https://support.apple.com/kb/SP719?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
Perhaps Apple discontinued that upgrade when the 2016 models came out.
A discrete/second GPU would use more power, and Intel's integrated graphics have gotten much better over the years.

Thank you for your reply. It's a 2.8 Ghz processor. It does say AMD Radeon, and it was posted on 2017, however I got none.
Doesn't make sense that they discontinued that upgrade while the model is still in the market. I just dislike the new models!!
It makes sense. They want to sell the newer, more expensive model. Obviously they didn't want to deal with a new model name or bother to update documentation. I had no idea this model didn't have the discrete graphics card. That used to be a standard feature of the 15" models.
Is it as good as the AMD Radeon R9 M370X with 2GB of GDDR5 (that it used to come with)??
