SD card importing to MBP

Hi need some help advice


Have just purchased a new Panasonic DMC TZ70 on importing pictures using the SD card in the MPB card slot the pictures are imported no problems and show in the Imports tab but nothing is shown in the Photos tab


I have 19k odd pictures on the computer, I also have another Panasonic DMC TZ70 and this cameras SD card imports to both Import tab and Photos tab no problem


Any body had this problems and whats the cause ?I have tried different SD cards in this camera with the same odd result

If you are seeing the photos in Import, try to ctrl-click one of them and use the command "Show in Moments". Perhaps the date in the camera is off and the photos are sorted incorrectly in Photos.

And disable "Photos > Preferences > General > Summarize Photos " , so really all photos will be shown in the Photos view.

Have you looked at the imports (or last import depending on the undisclosed version of the OS you have) abum? look at the card using the finder - are the photos there? Is the structure of the card the same as the one that works?


What version of the OS do you have? Are you shooting RAW, JPWG or RAW + JPEG?
