prints full photo from lightroom, but only partial photo from apple photos

When printing photos on a MacBook Pro to a Canon Pro-10 printer, I have encountered a strange issue. I can print photos from Adobe Lightroom on 5x7 paper with no problems. However, when I try to print the same photo on the same printer using the same paper from Photos, only one quarter of the picture prints. It seems to print only the lower-left quadrant of the photo, but it is expanded to fill the entire 5x7 paper. I have spoken with Canon's support staff, but they're convinced that the problem is with the settings in my MacBook.

Can anyone tell me why I can print normally from Lightroom, but only get a quarter of the photo printed when I print directly from Photos? Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have had a similar problem printing from Photos to a number of Epson printers. The problem does NOT occur when printing the same photo from Adobe Photoshop or the Apple Aperture programs. The fault is not in your computer's settings, it is in the Photos program. This same thing has appeared on this forum before - with no real solution and no input or fix from Apple. Very disappointing.
