Minor Volume changes in logic pro

Hey guys I was working on a project in Logic Pro X 10.4.0 and I noticed when I tried to type in the volume value for a track to -3 Db , it changed it to -2.9. No matter what value I type. It always is less by 0.1. I can change it manually by moving the fader, but it really irks me that I can’t set the exact value I want from just clicking and typing. I’ve tried quitting and restarting logic, I’ve also tried restarting my computer but that didn’t help either. Please help!
