What means error 4516 in Apple Music app for Android?

-Please ensure that you have an updated Apple Music app and latest software of Android.

-Clear the app cache

-Turn off your phone for 30 seconds and turn it on.

I have a similar problem with my Samsung Galaxy 7. However it is only with one particular artist, Jackie Green. All songs, regardless of album, are blocked with this error code. It appears like an internal Apple Music glitch, not a Samsung hardware or software problem.

Your answer is to always check for latest update for Apple Music. Well, Apple Music app does not provide for updates from the app. Nor do they tell the user how to do this

I tried Apple's recommendation and it didn't work. I also uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I'm still having issues.

If i go to sign out I get a warning saying it will remove all downloaded music from my device, does this mean when I sign back in I will have to redownload everything??

I'm getting the not authorised error pretty much every day now, funny apple never seem to have a problem with my payments being authorised each month.

Same issue. I've deleted all music, signed out, deleted cache, uninstalled and reinstalled and it still has the same issue. Seems to throw the error in songs I paid for versus the ones I downloaded through the subscription. Redownloading them doesn't help. It's pretty ridiculous that I can't listen to songs I paid for and clearly I'm not the only one. When will this be fixed? It's been this way for months.

I am having the same problem with my Samsung Note 8 phone. Many songs in Apple music has this error code and cannot be played. I have no problem playing the same song in itunes library. Try update my icloud library but it still does not work.

I'm having the same issue. I contacted support they said if I pay my subscription first they can look into it further but all they can suggest is to troubleshoot app. any one find a solution?

I have the same issue almost 5 months later, I can play songs I downloaded through apple music, but not songs I purchased through iTunes.
