is phonerescue imobie safe?

I used phonerescue to try to retrieve a deleted note. It scanned my phone. Everything fine however today the phone switched off and I had to force back on. Could this be linked? Is phonerescue safe? Thanks

Why didn't you restore from a backup that was made before the note was deleted?
