Hi guys!
I saved a Word Writer doc as Word 97' doc. Then I restarted my computer and the file no longer exists. I tried to search for the file but I can't find it anywhere... Tried to recover it but no topic about Word Writer only Microsoft Word.
Please, can somebody help me!!!

What Mac OS version?
Do you have Microsoft anything installed?
So the question is: do you have any app installed that is compatible with word writer and/or word 97? You must have a software that can open/read the document. FWIW, it is most likely lost as any software from 1997 is woefully out of date - this is 2018.
Saved a file in Word Writer, restarted Mac and file no longer exists.
