iPad not syncing with iPhone calendar

iPad does not sync properly with Calendar or Contacts from iPhone. Any suggestions? Previous thread on this shows 33 replies but none who solved the problem.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Calendars lost from iPhone New events are not syncing to my iPhone although computer, iPad, and iCloud have them. To try fixing the problem, I turned off Calendars in my phone's iCloud settings and told it to delete all Calendar events from the phone. Then after powering down the phone and turning it back on again, I turned Calendars back on in the iCloud settings, and chose to sync all events in Calendar settings. Now there are no iCloud calendars showing in the Calendars app. I pulled down on the page to make it refresh, but it didn't help. All other iCloud apps (Contacts etc) seem to be behaving properly and all other devices still have all of the calendars. How do I make the phone sync properly? Thanks. iPhone SE iOS 12.2

Calendar opens to a contact instead of calendar Accessing the calendar on iPhone 8 + with ios 15.1 opens a contact in my contacts. I want to open the calendar and see the calendar and not contact. How to resolve this issue. Only started after updating to ios 15.1

Recently, calendar will not sync on iPhone 8plus. Two iPhone 8plus on same account recently will not sync but photos and reminders continue to sync.
