I was try and my macbook can charger with ipad charger (i see output 5.2v-2.4a) with usb A to C convert.
But when i read on my macbook charger, it is have 2 output : 14.5v-2.0a and 5.2v-2.4a
my macbook can charge in 2 mode (both 14.5 and 5.2) or only with 5.2v?
if only need 5.2v , why need 14.5v output ?
maybe i use ipad charger on along time, it is what problem ?

You cannot use the iPad charger on the MacBook which requires a higher input voltage. The Mac does not operate exclusively on 5 volts.

If the MacBook's charger provides a higher output voltage than 5 volts, then the iPad charger cannot be used. The MacBook's battery requires 23 watts to fully charge. The iPad's charger only provides about 10-12 watts so it will only trickle-charge the MacBook's battery.
