how can I sync my Nikon Coolpix w100 to my MacBook Pro?

I recently went on a trip and I would like to put the photos on my computer. I'm using the USB-C cord attached the nikon camera charger but nothing coming up on my mac. there is also no space/hole to put a USB card on. Help!
