Logic Pro X - Velocity tool

OS X El Capitan, version 10.11.6, 4 GB ram.

New user of Logic Pro X.

Can't find velocity tool to use in "piano roll". Other common tools are there. e.g. pointer, scissors, etc. I saw and used the velocity tool only once for a very short time. I don't know why it appeared, then disappeared again. Thank you.

Logic Pro 10.4.1 mouse tool problems Been having this problem on all Logic tracks I've been working on. Very glitch arrow tool. When I try and lasso holding mouse down and drag to make my selection, not all I want selected will select. Further the mouse when selecting, will select something I haven't selected and move the region. Very annoying.In piano roll, sometimes the zoom arrows when clicked and held down simply won't zoom. Sometimes when I select a note, the note cannot be moved.Tried to delete com.apple.logic10.plist but it does not exist in Library/Preferences.Any ideas?Thanks

How do I set up fine adjustment for the Logic pointer tool? Hi, New user here! I've searched everywhere for info on this, but can't find anything. Is there a key press I can use to make the pointer tool in Logic Pro X make fine adjustments? For example, I wanted to set the start and stop points of a sample in Quick Sample by dragging on the location figures in the bar beneath the waveform. Even with fine movements it jumps too far. This is a simple as a key press in Ableton Live and I'm hoping it's the same here. Thanks for any help! PETE
