Logic Pro 10.4.1 mouse tool problems

Been having this problem on all Logic tracks I've been working on. Very glitch arrow tool. When I try and lasso holding mouse down and drag to make my selection, not all I want selected will select. Further the mouse when selecting, will select something I haven't selected and move the region. Very annoying.

In piano roll, sometimes the zoom arrows when clicked and held down simply won't zoom. Sometimes when I select a note, the note cannot be moved.

Tried to delete com.apple.logic10.plist but it does not exist in Library/Preferences.

Any ideas?
