Question: i recently updated my macbook, and once completed i got notifications on both my ipad and iphone stating that since i’ve updated, the camera will now capture in HD

just thought this was odd. wondering if that means my macbook camera? or the cameras on my iphone and ipad? and if my macbook, why would i get this notification on my other devices?

it’s only just over a year old. it was one of the high sierra updates. i’ve been putting it off for a couple of months. my main confusion is with the appearance of the notifications about the camera on my other two devices.
