Apple ID locked email

I got an email saying that my account was automatically locked and it came with a link, i was on my phone at the time so it seemed legit. I clicked the link and it came up with a random website link, then realized it was most definitely fake. i didn’t submit any information but i was wondering if the person behind that website could access the data on my phone and would i be able to get hacked?

Hi Margaret,

No, not unless you would've allowed access yourself and handed over your sign-in credentials.

They like to instill a sense of fear in hopes we'll click on the links & give out personal info.

Just forward as an attachment to reportphishing@apple.com then delete the email.

Take care ~
