How to fix emails not loading?

So I’m getting really frustrated because my emails (particularly) Yahoo email will NOT load properly! I have removed the account; rebooted the phone, added the account; it miraculously works when I do that, but I’m not about to sit here and that every time my email doesn’t work properly. Idk if it’s the phone, or what, because my iPad Air litetally gets all of my emails EXACTLY when they are “fetched”... so idk what to really do. Also, I’m not downloading the Yahoo Email app, SPECIFICALLY because of the ads! Oh yeah, I’ve even compared settings in both iPad and iPhone 7 Plus, both settings are exactly the same.
