I just purchased an iPhone 8 from a local store 2 days ago. we don't have any Apple Store around here so I am asking here...
I just activated my iPhone but the telephone support is expired! also my warranty shows until December 2018.
do u have any idea why is this happening? also its a unlocked phone and part number is LL/A

It would seem the local store did not sell you a brand new phone. Based on the date it is a phone originally sold in Dec of 2017. I would return it.

This may be true, but it was purchased, which starts the warranty/support period.
Warranty/support is not linked to activation. Purchase date is the trigger.

Yes, this is expected. You have purchased an iPhone that was destined for the US market, from a non Apple dealer.
