iPhone disabled - no computer access

Can someone answer this question in plain English*? Here's the problem:

I cannot get into an iPhone 6s.
The screen states "iPhone is disabled. Please connect to iTunes."
I do not have a computer with iTunes on it.
End goal: to gain access to the iPhone 6s.

So, how do I fix this? Is it possible without iTunes?

Thank you.

*Examples of advice that's not plain English: "usbaap1.idf," "Locate and expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers section," etc.

You obviously have access to some kind of computing device with access to the Internet. Hopefully, you have Fin My iPhone enabled on your phone. If you do, sign into your account at iCloud.com and use it to erase the phone.

The answer is hopefully simple - the English certainly is simple.

Visit an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center with the iPhone. They will help you there.

Ask a friend/relative/co-worker with a computer to allow

you to use it briefly. Check at your local library.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I live about 3 hours away from the closest Apple store, so that solution will not work for me.
