Question: Apple Music: Library Won't Update

I've attempted to add music via my iPhone, and nothing will save. I'll find a song/album, click "Save to Library", and a pop-up appears, confirming it's added. When I visit my library, it's not there. I go back to the song/album in the Search option, and it still gives me the option to add it.


I went to my PC and added the music to my Library via iTunes, and that added successfully, however my iPhone library still hasn't added the music. This has been ongoing for a few days. iPhone is up to date, Music is up to date and iTunes is up to date.


Suggestions?

It sounds like you are having an issue with not being able to add music to your iPhone along with music being added to your computer not being added on the iPhone and I am happy to help out! First, for the issue with music not adding to your iPhone after being added on your computer, I recommend you check out this article with steps to follow to Turn on iCloud Music Library once you have checked that you are signed in with the same Apple ID across all devices. This will ensure you are able to update one device with music and all devices will have the same music. Once you have tried those steps, test to see if you are still not able to add music to the iPhone as well as update across the devices.
If you still are not able to add music to the iPhone, I recommend you check out this article with steps for How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch and close the Music app. Once that is done, Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch then check to see if you are still noticing the issues.
