Cannot send emails from my IPad

I cannot send messages from my iPad. However, I can send them from my iPod. I am able to go to my browser, log onto my email account, and, am able to send emails that way. However, I cannot send them through the mail app on my iPad. Is there something wrong with my iPad. I verified all my mail settings with my internet provider and they say there is something wrong with Yahoo's outgoing mail server. If this is the case why can I send emails with my iPod and not my iPad. The settings are the same.

Well, sending them from your browser on your iPod really doesn't reflect on your Mail settings at all. That's like saying: "I can't squeeze this stone duck and get sound, but when I squeeze a rubber duck I get a squeak." Nothing against you, but realize that the two aren't connected. If that doesn't work, I would try re-adding your Yahoo account to your iPad: Set up an email account on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
