Q. How can i find my ipod touch

A1. Think about where you last saw it or used it and start by looking there. This includes places such as under your bed and down the side of the sofa.

A2. If you think you may have lost it in a public building, shopping mall, school, train or bus station, try asking at their Lost property Office. (One piece of advice we offer to anyone who has found an iPod is to hand it in to the Lost Property Office of the establishment where it was found.)

A3. If you think you may have lost it in a store, ask at the store. If you think you may have lost it in the street, ask at your local police station. Once again, we frequently suggest to finders that this is what they should do.

If you go to the 'Find my iPhone' app on your iPod, (it should be downloaded already, if not download it from the App Store for free) and it should be shown as (your name's) iPod Touch.

You can put the iPod into lost mode, if you have lost in it public, and send a message on the lock screen that says that the iPod Touch is lost and you can put any contact information (optional), both of which will be shown on the lock screen if it's not dead. You can also put the iPod in lock mode, so no one is able to access it but I would not recommend doing so.

If you've lost it at home, you can use the alert which makes your device make a noise, so that it is easy to find it.

If your iPod is already connected to 'Find my iPhone', and is on, you should be able to see the location of it on your iPad while you're using the app. It will show a map and have a picture of your device, telling you it's approximate destination.

If you're not connected, I don't know what to tell you. You can always call Apple for help.

However, if you do find it, use 'Find my iPhone' so that you don't lose it for good.

Where'd you last have your iPod? 😕
