Apple TV won’t connect to network

I have a recent Apple TV but not the most recent 4K version.


It stopped connecting to any network both with WiFi and Ethernet. I did a reset and tried to set it up fresh and it still won’t connect. I got a USB C cable and restored it via iTunes and I can’t get through the setup screens where you connect to a network. Hard wired and WiFi does not work. My other Apple TV from the bedroom does work in this same location with the same Ethernet cable Or WiFi.


any ideas?
