Can I import my Address Book on my iMAC (10.6.8) into my iPhone's Contacts?

Hi all -

My iPhone (ios-10.3.3) suddenly lost my contacts. I was told in a previous post how to import my Address Book entries from my iMAC (10.6.8) via vCards, but I can't find that discussion now. Can anyone tell me how to re-load my iPhone's Contacts from my iMAC's Address Book?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions -

Here is one way. For each contact:

  • In the Mac's Contacts app, select the card
  • Use Contacts' menu to do File > Export > Export vCard
  • Email the resulting vCard to an address you can receive on the iPhone
  • Open the vCard attachment on the iPhone
  • You may then add this card to your contacts
