Mac OS X El Capitan Flash storage glitching

My Macs 250GB Flash storage is almost full with 10GB free however, the storage will glitch after using it for a while & say I have zero KB free & no free disk space causing my applications to force quit & freeze until I restart my computer & it again says I have 10GB free ?

The other issue is my storage says I have 198GB of Other & it has reconfigured to state I only have 2.9GB of photos when I in fact have 60GB of photos?

Storage Space on Mac Hello. I recently deleted over 38GB of photos from my computer (over 6,000 photos) to free up storage on my macOS Sierra. I emptied my trash cans and I've restarted many times. I only got 3GB of storage back. This has happened to me multiple times where I will delete so many GB and my Mac is not recognizing this and continues to give me the Start Up Disk is Full message. This is so frustrating. Please help.

Disk space full - Macintosh HD has 455GB of free space Why do I keep getting "Disk space full" when I try uploading photos to my iMac, or if I try to do things on certain programs, but my disk isn't even close to full. My Macintosh HD says I have 455GB of available space. I am using Mac OS BigSur (See attached photos). Thanks
