Question: iTunes(12) Visualizer on Windows 10 Home

I am running Windows 10 Home on my computer. I just updated iTunes to I cannot get the visualizer to work when I play my music on iTunes now. I did look up the question and only found some instructions on going to My Music tab, however I don't have that when I open the iTunes on my computer. I have the normal File, Edit, Song, View (where I find the option to use the visualizer), Controls, Account, and Help. I tried using the Help and there was no updated information besides having Windows 8.

My kiddo really likes the visualizer so I would really like to get the one on the iTunes to operate without downloading something else.

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to get the visualizer feature in iTunes on your Windows computer to work as you expect. To help with this issue, please follow the relevant steps from this Apple resource on your situation, like testing this issue while iTunes is started in Safe Mode and testing this issue in a new user.

Start iTunes in Safe Mode

When you open iTunes in Safe Mode, you isolate the program from any interference caused by plug-ins or scripts not manufactured by Apple. To start iTunes in safe mode, hold down the Shift and Control keys on your keyboard while you open iTunes.

You'll see a message as iTunes is starting that says "iTunes is running in Safe Mode. Visual plug-ins you have installed have been temporarily disabled."

If the issue doesn't happen in Safe Mode, remove any third-party plug-ins.

Create a new user account

Visit the Microsoft website to learn how to create new user accounts for Windows 10, Windows 8, or Windows 7.

If you have the same issue in the new user account, skip to System-wide issues. If you don't experience the same issue, continue to User-specific issues.
