Unless you purchased AppleCare+ then you're no longer covered. Replacement devices are covered by a 90 warranty, or the remainder of the device's limited warranty or AppleCare+, whichever is longer.

I purchased my iPhone 7 in October 2016 but there was a problem with the software so I was given a new handset last June. Would the 1 year warranty have started again in June or would I no longer be under warranty? Because the software is once again playing up, I can't answer calls and it keeps getting stuck on the apple logo screen. If I take it into apple will I have to pay for a new handset if that's required?
