Can I get a refund on a unauthorized purchase?

$38 charge from iTunes showed up on my bank statement & I do not recall authorizing that charge. I’m assuming it should have been for a photo editor but I wanted to only purchase the 1 month plan for $5.99 I believe it was. I have not seen that reflect off my bank statement, as I’m now assuming somehow a glitch or something must’ve happened or something went wrong between then because I would not have paid $38 on an app like that

Whether you might be able to get a refund from iTunes will depend upon what the purchase is and where it shows. Have you looked at the purchase history of all iTunes account's linked to the card : See your purchase history in the iTunes Store on a Mac or PC - Apple Support ?

If it shows there but you didn't buy it, and if nobody else has access to the account and did it, change the account's password if you haven't already done so (What to do after you change your Apple ID email address or password - Apple Support) and contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com or https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

If it doesn’t show on your account(s) (and if it isn’t : About payment card authorization holds in the iTunes Store - Apple Support) contact the card issuer
