I want to sell my Iphone 6s. It’s not letting me delete all of my personal information without my password. I got locked out of my account and hve not been able to get back into it. Is there a way to erase my information without my password?

iCloud: Activation Lock - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT201365 - This is a security feature to deter re-selling of stolen devices. Apple is pretty strict about unlocking phones unless you can prove you are the owner. Passwords have transitioned from being casual things to log into a bulletin board somewhere to things representing thousands of dollars in investment.

You can call your local Apple Store ad see what they will require to do a reset, but remember even the FBI couldn't get Apple to unlock an iPhone for them.

Password or passcode? There's a huge difference.

You will have to enter it, or reset it, or the phone is useless unless the original purchaser takes it and the original sales receipt and ID to an Apple Store for a reset.
