10.5.5 can't get midi from axiom 25

I have an axiom 25 and can't get my OS to get midi data. I have tried different cables, ports, etc. I even went into the midi preferences. 10.5 sees my axion 25, but I can't get it to take any port (1, 2 or 3).

I am baffled. This controller has worked before. Logic, GB, Reason and any of my DAWs can't get midi data from it.
