Contacts Not Syncing Contact Photos

Only a few photos of my contacts are syncing from my iCloud to my MacBook. I have tried unsyncing, deleting all contacts from my MacBook and then re-syncing... the contacts all reappear but only some show photos. If I log in to my iCloud account through a web browser and view contacts, all of their photos still show so why can't I get them to sync to my MacBook? Thanks!

After Restoring Contacts from iCloud to Mac, Profile Photos are Missing Hello, When I go to icloud.com, all of my contacts are 100% accurate and each one has a profile picture. They also look perfect on my iPhone and iPad. My 2009 Mac running High Sierra has all the correct information for each contact, but out of 181 contacts, only 7 profile photos are showing up. I've restored my contacts to all of my devices through icloud.com and I've tried unchecking the contacts box in my Mac iCloud preferences to clear my address book, then rechecking the box to populate it again. Nothing works...still only 7 out of 181 profile pics show-up.

Any news? Contacts on mac not syncing Other discussions now closed.. and on other sites... so annoying.Contacts sync to iCloud, iPad, iPhone, but NOT to my mac. I see all the contacts in iCloud... but not syncing. LOTS of people have this problem. Any news.. did all the regular.. dont want to go through photos resyncing if I undo iCloud completely... did click off IN iCloud and back on... merged duplicates...UGGG...
