Why can I not make calls to another iPhone that is on the same Apple ID as well as the same Verizon account

cant make calls to an iPhone 10 from an iPhone 7 Plus on the same accounts

What Apple ID is being used on the phone has no bearing on making normal phone calls. it needs to be said that you shouldn't be sharing an ID with someone else, but if both phones are used by you, using the same Apple ID ensures the data is kept synchronized between them.


If you can't place a phone call from one to the other, contact your carrier.
