iMac only starts on recovery mode

I was doing this Re: Minecraft stopped working well on High Sierra

which links to a previous thread or more.

I tried restarting on safe mode but it wouldnt work, I reset PRAM and PRAT and it-s letting me in on recovery mode but I really don-t know what to do right now, I-ve been through too much lately. More on that in the threads, I just hope someone can tell me how to turn this back on on regular mode.

P.S. Im rasamalai, using my kid-s account, it-s the only one I remember the pwd for.

No option to edit, sorry, I should clarify, I hear the chime and see the apple logo, the bar only fills to about a third and then system quits, that is using safe mode, I don-t know if trying to reset the PRAM took me out of safe mode or not. I hope I don-t need to take it back to the AASP because they take too long to do anything and it-s an extremely inconvenient time since I-m in the middle of moving houses and this just complicates everything too much. Sorry for the rant.
