Changed Systems Password to nothing now won't let me unlock any system preferences with enter key, or old password, is there a backup forgotten password or something to access it again?

You need to have a password for each user account. Not having one can get you into trouble during some updates and upgrades as well as what you're experiencing now.
You can set your Mac to automatically log into your user account without having to add a password if that's was your intention.
