Fraud?

I received an email that said changes had been made to my Apple id. How do I know if this is fraud or not? I spoke to woman at apple 75 minutes ago and she said it maybe. Please help me.

The easiest way to check is to log in to https://appleid.apple.com and see if anything has changed.

This was not helpful as they changed my security questions. No one is been able to help...yet.
