Dark webpage title bar in Safari

The top bar in Safari where the names of open pages are written is dark,...really dark,...so dark I can’t read the titles at all. My daughter’s iPad Air 1 with the same exact iOS is not having this problem, so I know I probably did something to cause this with my fiddling around, but what?! I’ve tried a hard shutdown, but with no joy. Please, somebody, give me back my iPad/Safari joy, because this is driving me insane!
