Trackpad not working in Preview after updating to macOS High Sierra

Hi,

after updating to macOS High Sierra the two-fingers scrolling between pages in pdf Preview stopped working. The weird thing is that:

• if the Scroll between pages with 2 fingers option is on it does not work in Preview but it works in browsers (Chrome)
• if the Scroll between pages with 2 fingers option is off it does work in Preview but it does not in browsers

macOS High Sierra 10.13.1

MacBook Pro Retina 2015 2,7 GHz Intel Core i5 8 GB

Any suggestion?

Additional info:

• when the Scroll between pages with 2 fingers option is on, it is possible to scroll between pages in Preview moving fingers up and down, but not right to left
• when the Scroll between pages with 2 fingers option is off, both up-down and right-left scrolls work in Preview
