What is Textinput on iCloud. I just saw on my iMac that is taking 12.1 KB of storage???

Can I save a few select text threads rather than all texts to my icloud in order to save space? My icloud is full and I want to turn off syncing texts to the cloud. When I turn it off, how do I delete all the texts on there in one fair swoop rather than one at a time? Is it ok or even possible to delete ichat transcripts to save space on my Mac? I'm wondering if I can free up space on my Mac by deleting ichat transcripts. Is that even possible and is it ok to do this? I set my message preferences to keep for 30 days on both my phone and my Mac, but there are many older messages in my library.

Unable to save TextEdit Documents I am getting a message "There is not enough space to save this document to iCloud." when attempting to save a TextEdit document. Is it possible to save locally?
