Apple Watch + Cellular
Hey guys,
I’m willing to get the Watch GPS + Cellular but not planning -for now to pay the bill for it. Can I use the watch normally without the data plan or is it mandatory to have one?

Apple Watch LTE version will work just fine without a data plan except it won't have a connection without your paired phone. You can even turn off the cellular radio to save battery. All you lose is the extra standalone cellular functions, it will behave exactly like the non-cellular version. Having said that, you will get two bonus features - the ceramic back instead of plastic, and the Explorer watch face which I think is the best of the stock faces.
