My iPhone 5 turns off randomly

My iPhone 5 has lately been turning off by itself. I've tried powering it off, and even resetting it. I haven't had any luck. Answers are greatly appreciated.

Okay, but besides the battery not being replaced in 3 years, how else could I be sure that it is a battery problem? Are there any possible signs of this?
