How do I keep one handed keyboard on

I removed the shortcut key, I think it was called omoji, from my keyboard as I kept accidentally pressing it. Now I have to set the one handed keyboard from settings. Which is very irritating as it keeps turning itself off. Is there a way I can force the right handed keyboard to always be on?

Keyboard layout switching key not responsive How is the fn key, used to switch between keyobard layouts, supposed to work? Sometimes it works on the first press, sometimes I have to hold it longer... It works fine when using it as the Fn key, so I assume it's in the software... Or am I using it wrong?
